Ballarat Amateur Radio Group encouraging, enabling and PROTECTING PRIRATES

The Ballarat Amateur Radio Group has an ongoing history of encouraging, enabling and protecting PIRATES on the Amateur bands.

Today a PIRATE was repetitively asking for a radio check on VK3RBU without a callsign. Eventually he gave the callsign VK3JPM stating that he was in Central Ballarat. Comparing the ACMA Database with the now removed FAKE QRZ database confirmed a discrepancy. Further investigation verified the real licensee was infact on the ACMA database by contacting Amateurs that know him personally.

Further enquiries were made on the Ballarat Amateur Radio Group’s Facebook page which was challenged why I was making such enquiries, then the post was removed and I was blocked from the group.

PROTECTING PIRATES IS NOT THE ON AND NEEDS TO BE CALLED OUT!
