I have been accused of being the Band Police by a radio Amateur who has confessed to deliberately keying up repeaters incessantly to cause aggravation to myself and others late at night.
Well now that this Amateur has admitted to deliberately causing QRM and said he will continue to do it, his signals will be triangulated by others, not me and evidence collated and passed on for legal action to be taken.
Sure we don’t acknowledge QRM on air, BUT we ALL have a duty to find and prove who is doing it and passing it on to the authorities. Putting your head in the sand and ignoring it is worse than littering in your front yard.
So you can all shove the term BAND POLICE where the sun don’t shine. If you are putting your head in the sand in regards to deliberate QRM then you are part of the problem, especially if you know who the culprits are!
UPDATE: The OFFENDER has again emailed me withdrawing his guilt and requested I do not communicate with him, that will be the case but investigations into HIS behavior will continue by myself others.
